Atlanta attorney BB said of the 2019 Robert
Burns Birthday Dinner event:
“We're working on bringing a bunch of folks.
This was the best social function we went to in
all of 2019.”
That 2½ hour annual event included a bagpiper, 2
poets and swordsman around a 4-course dinner and
6 good
single malt whiskies.

Subject: Scotland trip
Jack,
I got back last week and
immediately started call so just now have time
to think. I didn’t properly thank you on the
last night of the trip so I just wanted to tell
you it was one of the greatest experiences I
have ever had. My whiskey friends here are
astounded at how much I got to see and do in
such a short period. Thank you so much for
putting it all together. I hope I can make down
for an event in Atlanta soon.

Hi Jack,
Thank you for setting up all of the distilleries
that we went to in Scotland. I had a great time
learning about scotch and how its made. I’m
taking it slow with tasting scotch.
I’ll be down for the Stone Mountain Highland
Games in a few weeks to help Bob with the dance
platform, maybe I’ll see you there.
Thanks again,
Kate |

What a fantastic experience! A special
thanks to Jack at Atlanta Scotch Clubfor arranging and
leading the trip and to our drivers who kept us safe
"and let the rest of us sample all the joys the
distilleries had to offer.
I took notes all week about where we were when, what we
tasted and where we stayed. A short Tour Summary with a
few photos I took is attached (I did not include in the
summary the 2 distilleries on the pre-tour, Deanston and
Glengoyne, as I was not there).
If I missed something, please let me know and I'll
update the summary.
Also, here is a link to all the photos I took on the
trip. This is a private posting on Flickr and the photos
are only accessible through this link. Click on the link
and when you get to the opening page, you can view the
photos in thumbnails or click on a photo to enlarge it
and then scroll through all the photos in the larger
size. You can look at these photos anytime using this
link but if you want copies of any of the photos, just
let me now the image numbers and I will get them to you.
